Description

Brause nibs are made in Germany, since 1850 and are highly respected by professionals. They are suitable for writing, drawing and calligraphy.

The 511 nib has a fine point, smooth reaction and an elastic drawing style. It is a high flex nib that produces fine hairlines, small swells, and requires a gentle hand. It is very similar to the 511 nib in appearance and performance although the 511 is scratchier, and does not glide well on textured paper. It is also more flexible than the 513, making it more suitable for intermediate and advanced calligraphers than beginners.
Excellent for drawing, tiny writing, and Spencerian. Suitable for Copperplate.

The 513 nib has a fine point, hard reaction, and a strong drawing style.  It is a medium flex nib that produces great line variation, from fine hairlines to super swells. Very similar to the 511 nib in appearance and performance, although not as scratchy, making it easier to use on textured papers. The 513 is less flexible than the 511, making it more user-friendly for beginners.
Calligraphers of all skill levels will love this nib. Excellent for drawing, tiny writing, Spencerian, and Copperplate.

The 66 EF is a highly elastic small nib with an extra fine point. It has a high ink capacity and a very smooth reaction. It is very flexible and a popular choice for Copperplate and Modern Calligraphy. The 66EF nib is a smaller sized nib, than most Made by Brause of Iserlohn.

These nibs are very small and will not fit in standard holders.  For best results use with an adjustable holder.
